Rash jumps around body for 3 days. Itchy, red, raised. Happens where pressure is applied sometimes or where clothing touches makes it worse. Not from detergent. Any ideas?gallery
Dermatologist told me I’ll have to “remove this birthmark in autumn” - saying “it could be dangerous but not urgent and it’s better to not remove it during summer”
Small non-healing wound that spawned a week ago with a nearby rash, without improvements so far. Any thoughts?
This small wound appeared near my left ankle about exactly 1 week ago. It wasn't noticed by me, but by my colleagues that warned me that my leg was bleeding. In my opinion, there's no chance that the wound was of physical damage because I wasn't doing any physical work on that day, was also wearing long pants for most of the time and I didn't feel a thing. (So maybe it appeared even sooner than that day when I noticed).
So, all in all, it has been some time and the wound hasn't healed even a bit, it is still the same as the day I noticed, the only thing different is the additional rash that also appeared nearby, maybe 4 cm away. I would love to get any input and would be very grateful for it.
I also feel that I should mention that for the past week I was wearing a bandage around that ankle because of the ankle sprain I got last Monday. But I only wore it during the daytime, not in bed.
I’m having a hard time telling if this is sebaceous hyperplasia. I’m getting it checked ASAP, but I would love some opinions in the meantime. I just noticed this spot recently, after it was pointed out to me by a fellow redditor. Please see comment below. Thanks!
I had a mole biopsied on my ankle a few months ago because it was new, darker than my other moles and resembled the melanoma in situ I had as well. I'm confused by the biopsy report and do not have access to a dermatologist, all my GP said was that the finding was odd. The first report stated: "No melanocytic lesion is identified in these initial levels, deeper levels are pending".
The second report stated that "an additional six deeper levels have revealed a small lentiginous and junctional nesting benign naevus with a few heavily laden melanophages within the papilallary dermis".
Can anyone explain why nothing was seen in the upper levels, and there is not much info on lentiginous and junctional nevi either, other than things about lentingo maligna.
Since it was benign I didn't worry, but now a few cm away from the mole my ankle bone has been feeling sore and like it is bruised, although I have not injured it for sure. I also have a lump further down on the same foot which I have been told is most likely a ganglion cyst but haven't had any tests to confirm this.

Sunburn on my head… I’ve never had this happen before so I’m not sure what to expect. There’s a little pain in that area and I’ve been feeling light headed. Any help on treatment and timeline of healing would be appreciated :)
Hi guys idk if this is the right place to post but something about my undereyes making me concerned. I had a really white and smooth face 6 years ago but I was exposed to direct sunlight for about 5-7 hours while swimming. And now I cant bring that white and smooth face back, what to do?
I’ve been waiting for 6 years to have that white face back but I just feel like my face haven’t recovered. It was sunburnt 6 years ago, along with my whole arms and legs but the normal (white) color of my arms and legs went back after 6 months.
Now, the color of my arms and legs is really different from my face because my face is really dark even if I am taking care of it for the past years, and even not exposing it to sunlight.
What’s happening? And is there a remedy for this?
I've had this bad boy for about a week. it's on my inner thigh and it's very itchy. Jock itch??? it doesn't feel like poison ivy.
This started out as 2-3 tiny clear bubbles a month ago that were itchy but went away. came back 3 times, this time it’s back way worse. intensely itchy like 50 mosquito bites in one bump, and very painful after being itched. Scratched so hard the bubbles broke… helpgallery
These marks popped up a couple months ago around the time I started having digestive issues. (Not sure if related).
Locations include lower back, arms, thighs, calves.
I also have had psoriasis on my elbow for years but these marks are all new.
